• The present Evanston Historical Society occupies this elegant 30 room French Normandy estate on Lake Michigan. Furnished by former Vice-President Dawes and his family, it is a perfect example of living history. Our tour includes a film on the history of Evanston.

NORTHWESTERN UNIVERSITY

• Explore this fascinating Big Ten campus, a blend of Gothic and modern buildings that reflect Evanston’s and the University’s 135 year development. Drive the original campus on Sheridan Road or visit the Shakespeare Garden.
