SHAKESPEARE
GARDEN
- This
garden is tucked away on the Northwestern University campus. Carefully
planted over 80 years ago in accordance with the research and
plans of Jens Jensen, it continues to be maintained by the Evanston
Garden Club. It celebrates the plants mentioned by the Bard in
his plays.

EMILY
OAKS NATURE CENTER
- Find
an oasis in the middle of an urban setting. There are 13 acres
of natural scenery with native grasses, wild flowers, oak trees,
woodland paths, and a pond. Hike through this restored native
Illinois oak savannah.

BAHA’I
TEMPLE
- Tour
the only temple of the Baha’i faith on this continent. Over
30 years in construction have resulted in this breathtaking masterpiece
in Wilmette. Our tour includes a film in the Visitor’s Center,
the main sanctuary, and the surrounding spectacular gardens.

BOTANIC GARDENS
- Over
300 blooming acres in Glencoe will delight the eye as a tram ride
reveals the variety and beauty of flowers, plants, trees, islands,
and gardens. The Education Center features greenhouses, seasonal
displays, gift shop, and a French Café, all a part of our
tour.

NORTHSHORE SCULPTURE PARK
- World
class large-scale contemporary sculpture is found throughout this
park. Linear in design, the curving paths and beautiful landscaping
provide a special setting for over 6 dozen pieces of art in the
outdoors.
